Reiki is natural healing energy that works on every level, not just the physical level
Reiki is non-invasive and is used holistically to restore balance in mind, body and spirit while promoting the body’s regenerative self-healing ability. Its healing energy connects us on an energetic and spiritual level where the healing work is conducted. To understand this, we must first realize that we are more than our physical bodies.
Our thoughts, emotions, feelings, ideas, perspectives and moral beliefs all exist within us but they are not part of our physical bodies. They are energies that can affect our physical bodies but they are not physical elements. Our soul or our spirit also forms part of who we are and it is definitely not a physical element. Reiki energy connects on our spiritual and energetic levels. Distant Reiki sessions work because energy is not limited by distance. Distance is a physical limitation only.
What to expect:
The session is usually 15-20 minutes long, but can continue longer if you like.
Upon purchasing, I’ll contact you within 24 hours to schedule a time and date for your session. By setting up a specific time you can be in a receptive state (such as lying down or meditating during the treatment).
Before the session, it would be great if you could email me:
– a photo of yourself or the person you wish the treatment to be given to
– location, and
– any intention of what you want from the session (e.g. a physical or health issue, goal, or challenge).
Having these details will help me connect to you.
How can I maximize the effectiveness of my session?
I recommend that you create a sacred, safe space: Use candles, lights, music, incense, etc: whatever helps you get in the right state of mind to be in a state of oneness to accept Reiki. It’s best you aren’t disturbed for the duration. It is not recommended you choose a time where you will be driving.
Also make sure you are hydrated, and drink plenty of water after your session.
What to expect from the session:
Clients will sometimes notice physical sensations during the session, just as you might during an in-person session—warmth, tingling, or a sense of relaxation or peacefulness, for example. You might also notice the mind calming down or the alleviation of physical symptoms. Everyone is different in what they experience.
The effects can be felt for up to seven days afterwards.
